The Woods Farm is a country retreat located on 40 acres just minutes from the waters edge of Jervis Bay.

We’d love for as many of our family and friends as possible to stay on-site with us.

We have 18 glamping tents on site that can be booked through us.

There are also some cottages on site which we will also be coordinating bookings for, that will be prioritised for the wedding party and family members with certain needs.

While you stay with us you will have access to coffee shop, an outdoor pool and pool house, a BBQ courtyard, a french-style herb and flower garden, a bike shed, kids playground, and family friendly farm animals; horses, goats, alpacas, chickens, cows, peacocks, ponies and so much more!

What We have planned

We would love you to spend some time with us for this special occasion. If you are able to, we would love you to join us for dinner the night before, the wedding day and the morning after for breakfast. Here is what we have planned.

The night before

For those that can stay with us you can check in to your accomodation after 3pm the day before the wedding.

Then as the sun sets the fairy lights come to life and the wood-fired pizza oven starts to heat up. Pizza under the starts is at The Woods Farm veggie garden with an undercover pergola, seating, tables, veggies and herbs you can pick.

The staff will cook the pizzas and there is an antipasto grazing table, water, ice, beer, wine and soft drinks for 3/4 hours followed with dessert pizzas.

8Am to kick start the big day

For those that wish to join, there will be a yoga class on the day of the wedding in the chapel.

9am Animal Feeding

For the young and the ‘Young At Heart’ there will be an organised animal feeding for the variety of rescue animals that live at the farm.

the official ceremony – 1pm in The Chapel

The timber chapel features antique entrance doors and a 4 meter high soaring antique arbour backdrop. It has a roof over head for weather protection, but is open on all sides and surrounded by stunning native forest and bush.

Guests arriving by car on the day will be directed by staff to​ join those who are staying for a cool refreshment prior to the service.

2pm Cocktail Hour, Photos and lawn games

We have set aside some time for those that would like to join us for some photos. We would love to have some personal shots with you as special memories.

While we dash off for some more photos there will be assorted wines, beers soft drinks and canapés to enjoy while you relax and chat, or get involved in some lawn games.

4:30pm Guests ushered into The Shed

5pm Dinner & Speeches

Join us at The Shed for a lovely dinner.

7pm – Our First Dance

To officially kick off the celebrations, we’ll be taking the floor for our first dance together as husband and wife

All dietary requirements will be catered for, please let us know your preferences in your RSVP.

We would love you to join us for the Pizza night even if you cannot stay with us. Let us know in your RSVP. There will be a lockdown of the property at the end of the night. You will need to be out by then.

Unfortunately we cannot book you in for the breakfast.

Dress to feel your best! Think polished but comfortable. For men think chinos, dress pants and collared shirts (Ties are optional). For women think elegant skirts, dresses, jumpsuits and tailored trousers.

A quick tip for Sydney Autumn: Bring along a jacket or wrap as the temperature usually drops quickly once the sun hits the horizon.

May in Jervis Bay is beautiful! You can expect a mild day with highs of around 19°C. However, once the sun sets (usually around 5:00 PM), the temperature drops to about 12°C. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap to stay cozy for the evening celebrations.
